Dandadan Vol. 4 (English) – VIZ Media Manga

The aliens from earlier in the series are back, and this time they've trapped Okarun, Momo, and Aira together to finish what they started. The fight pushes Aira's dormant powers to the surface for the first time, and for a while the three of them actually function as a team — right up until their opponents combine forces into something considerably harder to beat.

This is a real turning point for Aira's character, and one of the better team-up sequences in the early run. The stakes escalate cleanly without losing the series' sense of humor about itself.

Rated Mature, consistent with the series.
